GerrAudio Distribution is pleased to announce their appointment as the exclusive distributor of Sound Devices wireless products in Canada. As of December 1st, 2023, GerrAudio will provide a dedicated market focus in the wireless category to introduce and expand Sound Devices’ brand presence, technical and application support and profile of Sound Devices’ ASTRAL® lineup of wireless products across Canada.

“We are looking forward to adding Sound Devices to our product portfolio,” comments Geoff Maurice, GerrAudio’s VP of Sales. “For many years we have been watching Sound Devices grow and evolve as a technology leader. When the ASTRAL® wireless series was released a few years ago, we knew what we needed to do. The innovation, build quality and engineering excellence of their products puts them at the top of the market and matches well with GerrAudio’s underlying philosophy. This product line has many unique features that differentiates it from what is currently available in the market, which has positioned it as a top choice in the Location Sound and TV/Film segments. We believe that our expanded market reach combined with the advanced feature-set and intuitive operation will ensure this technology becomes an invaluable toolset for our live, corporate and broadcast customers,” Maurice concludes.

“GerrAudio was a strategic choice for distribution of our wireless technology in Canada,” comments Vojtech Pokorny, VP of Sales at Sound Devices. “The company’s commitment to representing industry-leading technology, and their longstanding reputation for offering their customers the highest level of support, is complimentary to the way we do things at Sound Devices. GerrAudio is well established in all market verticals in Canada and we hope to leverage this in order to realize the market potential that we believe our wireless technology deserves.”

“We want to be able to offer our customers end-to-end audio solutions that are rock solid and sound great,” adds Peter Snelgrove, GerrAudio’s VP of Operations & Marketing. “If you look at the typical signal chain and compare that to our current portfolio of products, the only critical piece we feel is missing is a Tier A wireless system. With ASTRAL®, we can now offer end-to-end solutions to our customers, and we are looking forward to getting out there to demo these systems to our existing user-base as well as potential customers who are looking for a powerful, advanced and easy-to-use wireless solution.”

GerrAudio’s first live showcase of Sound Devices ASTRAL® products will be at their annual Demo Days event in Toronto. For more information and to register, please visit: www.gerr.com/demodays
