Held in a different Canadian city each year, Rendez-vous is a unique event that brings together emerging and established professionals from the live performance and events industry around a dynamic program of professional development, networking, and collaboration. The conference fosters an inclusive, hands-on learning environment where ideas are exchanged, connections are formed, and careers are inspired.

Topics include, but are not limited to, technical direction, production, stage management, lighting, sound, new technologies, props, costumes, design, theatre architecture, health and safety, and equity, diversity, and inclusion (EDI).

These sessions are complemented by pre-conference training, offering one- and two-day hands-on workshops led by industry leaders, social activities designed to build community and spark collaboration, and a one-day trade show featuring products and services for the live production sector.

This year's pre-conference workshops include a two-day Theatrical Rigging and Counterweight Fly Systems training, presented in collaboration with Joel Theatrical Rigging, the National Arts Centre, and Wes Jenkins of Downstage Right Industries. Also announced is a one-day, three-course workshop on production management offered in collaboration with PM/TD Arts.
