Rendez-vous 2025 Halifax

CITT/ICTS is heading east for the 35th edition of its annual conference and trade show. Rendez-vous 2025 will take place from August 13–16, 2025, at Dalhousie University in beautiful Halifax, Nova Scotia.
Held in a different Canadian city each year, Rendez-vous brings together emerging and established professionals from across the live performance and events industry for four dynamic days of professional development, networking, and collaboration. The event fosters a welcoming, hands-on learning environment where ideas are exchanged, connections are made, and careers are inspired.
The main program features a wide range of training workshops, educational sessions, roundtables, and panels covering key aspects of live performance production—including technical and production direction, stage management, lighting, sound, video, props, costumes, design, theatre architecture, health and safety, and equity, diversity and inclusion (EDI).
These sessions are complemented by pre-conference training, offering one- and two-day hands-on workshops led by industry leaders, along with a dynamic trade show featuring products and services for the live production sector, and social activities designed to build community and spark collaboration.
Rendez-vous 2025 will feature Mental Health First Aid Training as part of the pre-conference workshops and offered in collaboration with The AFC. This essential one-day course will take place in person at the Dalhousie Arts Centre.
Registration for the conference is now open, with options for Full Conference or Day Passes. Take advantage of the early bird rate available until June 16, 2025, and secure the best value on your Full Conference Pass. The event is open to both CITT/ICTS members and non-members, with a special student rate and a special offer for members of performing arts organizations.
Trade Show: Booth Reservations open mid-May! The Rendez-vous Trade Show is an excellent opportunity to showcase your products and services to live events and performing arts professionals from across Canada, expand your Canadian market reach, grow your business, and tap into the Atlantic market for new local buyers.
