EXPO-SCÈNE 2026 Announces Sold-out Show Floor

EXPO-SCÈNE 2026 Announces Sold-out Show Floor

EXPO-SCÈNE 2026, Canada's premier trade show for entertainment technology and live event production, has announced a sold-out show floor made possible by returning exhibitors and the addition of many new exhibitors at this year's event, taking place April 15 and 16, 2026 at the Palais des congrès de Montréal.

Produced by CITT/ICTS (the Canadian Institute for Theatre Technology), EXPO-SCÈNE draws more than 1,900 professionals from across North America and Europe each year, gathering buyers, technicians, designers, and decision-makers under one roof to discover the newest innovations in audio, lighting, video, staging, rigging, special effects, and systems integration.

Visitor registration is now open. Admission to the expo floor, TEC Talk Studios, and Demo Rooms is included with a registered visitor badge.

TEC Talk Studios and Training Courses: Learn from the Industry's Best

TEC Talks are short, focused educational sessions presented by leading exhibitors and industry experts. Held in two dedicated studios on the show floor, the sessions cover a wide range of topics — from technical standards and certification to career development, eco-responsibility, and cutting-edge software. No separate registration is required; attendees simply show up and take a seat.

"TEC Talks, along with our training courses, put real knowledge directly into attendees' hands," said Jacquie Lazar, Executive Director of CITT/ICTS. "These sessions make EXPO-SCÈNE more than a trade show, they also make it an event for professional development."

Dive into hot industry topics with sessions such as:

·         Insurance Demystified, presented by ASSURART

·         How to Select Your Mobile Stage Provider, presented by Stageline

·         An Introduction to GearConnect System Drawings, presented by GearConnect

·         Innovation and Eco-Responsibility in Theatre Technologies (Panel), presented by CQICTS + Écoscéno

·         Career Opportunities in the Entertainment Production Industry, presented by Entertainment Marketer

·         ETCP — The Genesis, Present and Future of the Entertainment Technician Certification Program, presented by ETCP/ESTA

·         Vectorworks, presented by avanTou

·         DMX512: Best Practices in Everyday Use, presented by Terrier Marketing

Sharpen your skills and deepen your knowledge with hands-on training on top industry gear with training such as: WATCHOUT 7, ETC Eos family consoles, GrandMA3, and haze and fog technology with Hazebase.

Demo Rooms: Experience the Technology Hands-on

Complementing the exhibition floor, EXPO-SCÈNE’s Demo Rooms, give attendees exclusive, hands-on time with the industry's most coveted technologies. Product specialists lead immersive demonstrations, allowing visitors to test equipment, ask in-depth questions, and experience solutions in action, not just on a shelf.

Demo Rooms are included with every visitor badge and are available throughout both days of the event. This format has become one of the most sought-after features of EXPO-SCÈNE, offering a level of product interaction that a traditional booth visit simply cannot replicate.

This year's Demo Rooms welcome d&b audiotechnik, GerrAudio Distribution & Meyer Sound, Harman Pro Canada, SFM, and Theatrixx Technologies.

Register Now — Admission Is Free

A visitor badge grants access to the full expo hall, both TEC Talk Studios, and all Demo Rooms across both days of the event. Pre-registration is strongly encouraged.

Training courses require separate registration and fees. Visit our website for more details.
