Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for technical product support on high-end Yamaha digital consoles, loudspeakers, conference systems and installed components for hospitality and entertainment businesses.

The role also entails the procurement and development of new business for these above mentioned systems and the ability to design solutions to fit the customers’ needs.

Responsibilities and accountabilities include but are not limited to

Providing high-level technical support to our dealer network and their customers.

 Advanced training to dealers, end users and the Yamaha sales team.

 To work with contractors and Integrators on system design and applications.

 Exploring new business opportunities in the commercial install segment.

 Be a Brand Ambassador for Yamaha Professional Audio Solutions and assist in the planning and execution of customer facing events.

 Create content such as videos and comparison charts for training and marketing support.

 To support our Audio & Music Production Product Marketing Manager in various capacities by providing competitive intelligence for market and SWOT analyses to the organization.

 Attending various conferences and Trade Shows representing Yamaha Professional Audio.

To be successful in the role you will need a combination of the following experience and qualifications:

 Deep knowledge and experience on high-end digital mixers including Yamaha TF/DM up to Rivage level consoles.

 High level knowledge of Networked Audio Systems such as Yamaha PMD Amplifiers and MTX and MRX Processors.

 A working knowledge of Unified Communication systems and their applications.

 Dante Certification and experience with control software/hardware such as ProVisionaire, Crestron etc. is also required.

 AVIXA CTS Certification would also be an asset.

 Direct experience using Microsoft Office with advanced PowerPoint and Excel skills is required.

 Demonstrating success translating product specifications into end-user features and benefits is preferred.

 Experience presenting product information to a broad audience, up to and including senior leaders in an organization

 Experience collaborating across multiple geographies and cultures is required.
